Be Brave

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past couple months, it’s that bravery starts with small steps. Talking to a crush, taking the lead in conversations, writing a potential graduation speech…

Starting the process to self-publishing a book, reaching out to a friend who’s hurting, deciding not to be defined by society and its labels…

Yeah, my senior year had a lot of ups and downs. But I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything in the world. Finally, I’ve realized just how worthy I am of love. Social anxiety might hinder me, but I can overcome it with the support of friends and family. I am not an outcast, I do have a future, and I am ready to be successful in college.

I’m not sure what clicked these past few weeks, but I believe God is moving in my life, and He’s gonna be working some wonders. The same goes for whoever is reading this post. You’ve got this!

PS: I’ll be back to posting once a week from now on, though they won’t be as lengthy.
